Excellent discreet British Royal Colony style roadhouse stop. You would never guess it because it's a truck stop filled with locals too. Very understated, crips and clean. Bermuda accents hiding as cheap hotel hand me downs. A true hidden treasure for a seasoned traveler that loves attention to fine details, a perfect bed and super cheap. Compared to what I paid for, I would rate the value on a scale of 1 to 10 as a 13. I haven't enjoyed a stay like this in a while. And because the room was so affordable, I had pocket money to enjoy the little village of shops filled with street foods, healthy to greasy spoon American.with a wonderful selection of tastes from around the world. You could make this stop Aryuvedic if you tried.

This is a cozy room for less than $100 a night, just for sleeping, it was great. We initially had the room above the office, and could hear everything from there, but the very friendly man who checked us in gave us another room towards the back, with a much nicer vibe. There is a great travel shop in a car wash across the street with some unique gifts, and several restaurants within walking distance, such as Betsys diner (family owned since 1981). We had a fat delicious breakfast before heading off to Uvas Canyon (reservations a must). Pro: helpful staff, great location, spacious, fairly clean, no bugs, and comfy bed. Also several movie channels. Con: dated, no mic, fridge or coffee maker (in our room anyway)

Price price and more price. You get more than you pay for here. Very nicely done for such a high traffic motel. Each night an interesting and diverse group showed up. I liked our first room better than the second. My husband like the second room better than the first. Go figure.

The staff was very friendly. They even made an exception for me and let me check-in 2 hours early. The room was clean and spacious. Neighbors were noisy so I notified the management and they took care of it. I would definitely come back!!!

Stayed one night (Feb ‘25)at first then went back for 2 more nights. Felt safe, it was clean, quiet, the owners do all the cleaning and are friendly. The parking lot is well lit. Conscientious owners. Good value.
